About Love is a Cult

We've all been there. That moment when love stops being a feeling and becomes an obsession. When you'd do anything, believe anything, sacrifice everything for someone who might not even see you clearly.

Love is a cult. And just like any cult, it has its devotees and its survivors.

Why "Love is a Cult"?

Because love demands devotion. It asks for belief without proof. It creates rituals, sacred spaces, and unspoken rules. It lovebombs you with intensity, isolates you from reason, and makes you question reality when things fall apart.

Whether you're still in it—worshipping at the altar of someone who makes you feel alive—or you've escaped and are picking up the pieces of who you used to be, you understand: love is a cult.

What is The Confessional?

The Confessional is a digital space where you can speak your truth. No judgment. No platitudes. Just you, your story, and a response that meets you where you are.

How it works:

1. Confess your truth - Write what love did to you. The good, the bad, the obsessive, the devastating.

2. Choose your oracle - Pick a response style that fits your mood: raw and unfiltered (Bukowski), gentle and understanding (Supportive), clear-eyed and analytical (Objective), or challenging and provocative (Contrarian).

3. Receive wisdom - Get a response that speaks to your confession. Sometimes harsh, sometimes comforting, always honest.

4. Create & share - Transform your confession into a shareable vertical video. Take it to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube. Let others know they're not alone.

The Philosophy

"Love doesn't ask permission. It colonizes your thoughts, rewrites your priorities, and convinces you that surrender is salvation."

This project exists because we need spaces to speak the unspeakable parts of love. The parts that don't fit on greeting cards. The obsession, the betrayal, the reckless devotion, the crushing aftermath.

Whether you're drunk on love or recovering from it, whether it saved your life or shattered it—this is your space.

For the Devoted and the Disillusioned

If you've ever lost yourself in someone else, if you've ever questioned reality because of love, if you've ever felt like you were the only one who understood what it means to worship another human being—you're not alone.

We're building more than a confessional. We're building a community. A creative rebellion against the sanitized version of love we're supposed to believe in.

Soon: merch for the lovesick and the love-wrecked. Testimonies from ex-devotees. A ritual space for processing what love does to us.
